YOUTH ATHLETE CLASSES

Our philosophy at The Strength Feed, whether in the weight room or on the field, is to use a combination of new school technology and old school movements to create a safe, effective and fun environment for athletes to become bigger, stronger, faster, and injury-free. We also apply these same principles to athletes that sustain injuries in order to get them back in the game as fast as possible. Working with kids as they are in this developmental stage to learn proper movement patterns and mechanics will have a huge impact on their body control and overall athleticism. No matter the sport, no matter the goal, we train to your abilities to ensure maximum skill transfer on game day!

ADULT STRENGTH CLASSES 

These classes are designed for adults look to gain strength. We operate these classes as customized group training. After your initial assessment we coaches build a custom plan that has your needs goals and injuries in mind. The Strength Feed believes that training is not just a hobby but a way of life. It is a tool to unlock your highest potential. The group class structure makes working with a highly knowledgeable strength coach more affordable and provides great motivation as you learn and grow with your peers. The workouts are catered to each individual's skill level and needs with functionality to everyday life in mind. We run block style programming that you work through at your own pace with a two, three or four time a week schedule.

PERSONAL  TRAINING


Customized Workouts

The Strength Feed's customized workouts are available for remote clients who lift at alternate facilities. These programs will provide structure to your daily training routine regardless of your goals. We work with many people from Ohio to Auburn and reaching as far west as California. With customized programming we are able to give our clients the direction they need in the weight room.

Nutrition Services

Our Nutrition program is led by Jess Wight, BS PN-Lvl1, USAPL-CC. Nutrition services include an initial consultation ranging from 40-60 min via video conference or in person. From then on, you will be provided with customized, individualized nutrition guidance, scheduled weekly check ins and 24 hour access to Coach Jess. She has experience working with many different levels of clients, ranging from working with the App State football team, to general weight management clients. Jess is prepared and ready to help you make the change you want to, but haven’t been able to make yet. Common reasons for nutrition coaching include:
  • Sport/Performance enhancement
  • Body recomposition
  • Muscle gain
  • Improved confidence, accountability

Public Speaking

The Strength Feed will always pride themselves as a teaching gym. This means we have made it our mission to speak to teams, corporations and other small businesses on the positives affects of strength training, athletic performance and nutrition. We have spoke at companies like, Baker Roofing, Costal Carolina Credit Union, K&L Gates Law offices and many others. We also have spoken in the Junior Canes Hockey organization, Female only athletic talks at Broughton High School, as well as nutrition and recovery talks with the BHS football and lacrosse teams. 

We will always offer our knowledge to anyone looking to receive it. Let us know when we can schedule our next fitness talk at your facility or office.

Do you have a very specific goal in mind? If so, our individual sessions are for you. We offer one on one training for clients that have specific movement flaws or just want the extra work. Personal training is a great tool to prepare you for bigger and better things in the gym. This is also a great option when returning from an injury, or training for a specific event. We've done programming for an eclectic group of people; marathon runners, power lifters, bikini competitors and everyone in between. We are confident that we can create a program specifically for you.

Have a friend or spouse training with you? Our two on one packages are a great option when lifting with a training partner.

Internships

The purpose of education is to prepare you for the industry you're heading into, but you can only learn so much from the classroom. The goal of our internship program is to give a favorable environment for young students to grow their knowledge base and learn from some of the best coaches in Raleigh.  We want every student that comes in the door to have a further understanding of the human body as well as the biomechanical requirements of sport and exercise. We also will give said students an increased knowledge of programming that isn't taught in the classroom. Use the contact form to get more information.

24-Hour Access

Here at the Strength Feed, we have a 24-hour access door in the back. Members are allowed to come and go as they please with full gym equipment, towels, shower and restroom in the back. This is included with every package or membership you buy with us.

Team Training

  Our facility is a great environment for team training and we are well equipped for not only strength training but also speed, agility, quickness training for entire teams. We have had several high schools, clubs, and even semi-pro teams train with us on-site as well as traveling off-site to hold various clinics and combines for organizations interested. Our coaches are familiar with team training due to our position as the full time strength staff at Meredith College and are able to put together programs specifically geared towards any sport. Team training with The Strength Feed has proven to increase vertical jump heights, decrease 5-10-5 speeds, and improve overall athleticism. Athletes also gain valuable bonding time with the other athletes in these training sessions.
